I’m a Boston area photographer specializing in Environmental Portraiture. Casually known as “A Face and a Place” – I’m most attracted to photos of people that tell a story.. or better yet, generate a question. Old or young, I find that almost everyone has an interesting aspect to their life – It’s my job to tell that story through the camera.
I’ve spent countless hours both behind the lens and in the darkroom. Growing up in the era of manual cameras and learning to shoot and develop film proved to be a valuable foundation as cameras became more complicated and computers replaced darkrooms.
Believing fully that photography is an art that is never perfected, I continue to learn as much as possible from other photographers. The internet has proven to be a wonderful resource for anyone interested in sharing knowledge and helping others improve their art. This website came about as a way for me to pass on what I’ve learned over the years and to teach others through my blog. It also serves as a convenient place to display my own work.
Thank you for visiting and feel free to contact me with any questions or to schedule a time to talk.
